LanguageRoom is a Market Place where Accredited Language Schools can list their Online Language Courses for Students to search, select, book and pay for them.
Yes, once you have paid for a course the School must deliver it or you receive a refund.
The only extra charges will be from your Payment Services Provider (PSP) if the Student chooses to request a refund.
Schools have Directors Of Studies or Administrators who will be able to receive and remedy your complaint. There details are listed on the Schools Profile.
Contact the School at the details on the Schools profile and ask. Lessons can be changed and it is up to the discretion of the School.
Online Learning is learning conducted over the internet between the Teacher and the Student(s). It is Live as the Student and the Teacher see, hear and speak with each other in real time. It is the closest alternative to the Student and the Teacher being in the same room.
All Schools are Accredited or Licensed and personally vetted and selected by LanguageRoom.
Courses are paid for via one of our accredited Payment Service Providers (PSP's) meaning your money is securely transferred from you to LanguageRoom.
Students money is securely held by LanguageRoom in an Escrow Account. Your money cannot be touched by LanguageRoom or Schools until the lessons have been completed.
Yes, Students can view their Account Balance at any time.
Yes, all Teachers are qualified as this is a requirement of Licensed or Accredited Schools who are listed by LanguageRoom.
Courses are in English and other languages will added by Schools.
Yes, Online courses are the same as Residential Courses, including the same Teachers and Course Curriculum. Online Courses can be studied to prepare Students for Online or Residential Exams.
Yes, of course as Schools list courses that cover all curriculums and are accredited. There are two ways to do it: Firstly by selecting a course you have studied residentially before and continuing with the same course online; Secondly the School may incorporate Online Learning into its residential course this is often called Blended Learning.
Yes, at the discretion of LangugaeRoom, in the event that the Student and the School cannot agree to continue the course.
If a Student misses a lesson then they will be charged for the lesson taking place as in a residential course.
If a Teacher misses a lesson then the Student will be not charged for the lesson. The Student has a dispute function to flag this to the School who will make arrangements with the Student. The Student will not be charged for the course until the lesson is agreed between the Student and School.
It is at the discretion of the School to agree to change the time of the Lesson as the Teacher has to be available at the new time. This is only likely to be agreed for 1-2-1 Lessons as in a residential course.
